Skyler Wayne Belt, age 11 of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born April 5, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jason Belt and Brittany Quincey. Skyler was of the Baptist faith and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Ozark. He loved art, music, and basketball. Skyler is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jeffrey Corder; paternal grandmother, Darlene Belt; and maternal great-great grandfather, Jerry Rogers. Skyler is survived by his parents, Jason Belt of Altus, Arkansas and Brittany Quincey of Fort Smith; his stepfather, Val Quincey; one sister, Arrianne Belt of Altus; one brother, Aiden Quincey of Fort Smith; maternal great grandmother, Sherry Rogers of Ozark, Arkansas; step grandmother, Carla Quincey of Branson, Missouri; one paternal grandfather, Jimmy Belt of Altus; maternal great grandparents, Lonnie and Dianne Collins; maternal great grandfather, Sammy Corder; maternal great-great grandmother, Shirley Stubblefield; one step grandfather, Rick Quincey; three uncles, Tyler Corder and wife Nikki of Greenwood, Arkansas, Robbie Corder of Oklahoma and Sergey Quincey of West Monroe; five aunts, Jessica Henderson and husband John of Ada, Oklahoma, Kathy Belt of Osawatomie, Kansas, Debbie Belt of Osawatomie, Amanda Corder and partner Triston Phipps of West Fork, Arkansas, and Tabitha Walton and husband Jordan of Hartman, Arkansas; one great uncle, Ricky Corder of Branson; two cousins, Adeline Walton and Everly Walton; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1504 West School Street in Ozark, with Brother Evan Blackford officiating. Cremation arrangements will be made under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
