Tommy Bruce Whitson, age 77, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Russellville, Arkansas. Tommy was a commercial fisherman and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He attended First Assembly of God in Mulberry. He was born December 2, 1944 to Cal and Ruby Walker Whitson. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Sonny Whitson. Tommy is survived by his wife of 53 years Bobbie Whitson, one son Matthew and wife Morgan Whitson of Mulberry; and two grandchildren Mason and Jaxon Whitson of Mulberry. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel, 2315 West Commercial Street, Ozark, Arkansas from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 7, 2022 at the First Assembly of God, 314 Heard Ave, Mulberry, Arkansas with Brother Dade Kendrix officiating with burial at New Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tom Bugg, Dewey O’Bar, Wayne Whitlock, Donald O’Bar, Newt Peters, and Randy Jones.
