Thurman “Cobby” Carlos Cagle, age 91, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Sand Springs. He was a retired equipment operator for Stone Container, a founder of the Full Gospel Temple in Ozark, Arkansas, and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sand Springs. Cobby was born April 30, 1930 in Low Gap, Arkansas to Harmon Luther and Eva Lee Nichols Cagle. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Luke “Red Bone” and Ed Cagle; two sisters, Gladys Barham and Delpha McKinney; daughter, Lori Williams; son, Thurman Cagle, Jr.; grandson, Boss Cagle; and son-in-law, Chris Krebs. Cobby is survived by his wife of 41 1/2 years, Velma Lee Cagle of Sand Springs; two daughters, Becky Krebs of Ozark and Debbie Walker and husband Jeff of Sand Springs; a son Brian Cagle and wife Laura of Ozark; two step-sons, Rickey Welch and Barry McBride of Sand Springs; two sisters, Lula McKinney and husband Ralph of Ozark and Betty Wood of Ozark; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315, West Commercial Street in Ozark. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home with Brother Brad Elrod officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home with burial at Belt Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin and Brodi Williams, Kyle Cagle, Justin Franklin, Ronald Williams and Zack Krebs. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, Clint Day, Lee Walker and Jesse Jordan.
