Ronald “Max” Lancaster, age 82, of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, April 23, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Max was born March 15, 1940 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Floyd and Bernice Lancaster. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wilard Lancaster. Max is survived by his two daughters, Cindy and husband David Marino of Los Gatos, California and Tracey Lancaster of Huntington Beach, California; two grandchildren, Landon Wayker and Lauren Marino of Los Gatos, California; one sister, Robbie Lohr; three nephews, Brett, Bobby and Barry Schaeffer, and his loving girlfriend, Donna Brooks. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Highland Cemetery, 1601 Main Street Ozark, Arkansas, with Brother Jan Akins officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life in Glendora, California will follow soon.
