Roger Dale Umholtz, age 76, of Altus, Arkansas was born June 21, 1945 at Mountain Top, Arkansas. He left this world to complete his journey to Heaven on November 21, 2021. Husband, father, grandfather and minister were his most cherished titles. He ministered the Word of God from the age of 17, leading many to Jesus Christ with pastoral roles at churches in Arkansas and California. Roger enjoyed his 23 year role as Vineyard Manager for Wiederkehr’s in Altus, Arkansas. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred T. and Lacie (Nichols) Umholtz; first wife of 52 years, Reba Umholtz; brother, Jerry Umholtz and sisters, Lucille Forbus, Gellila Miner and Lula Mae Hunter and one great grandson, Torin Duncan. This wonderful man of God will be greatly missed by his wife, Betty Umholtz; five children, Rebecca Burdine and husband William of Atkins, Arkansas, Judy Smart and husband David of Springdale, Arkansas, Pamela Blissitt and husband Kenny of McGehee, Arkansas, John Umholtz and companion Kristy Ferguson of Ozark, Arkansas and Scott Brown and wife Tonia of Ozark, Arkansas; bonus children, Landon Brown and wife Jennifer of Charleston, Arkansas and Lori Bibb of Altus; Roger was blessed with 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 bonus grandchildren; and 1 bonus great granddaughter. Visitation for friends and family will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 prior to the Funeral Service at Williams Cemetery. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Williams Cemetery in Mountain Top, Arkansas with Bobby Qualls officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Services in Ozark, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers will be John Umholtz, Scott Brown, David Smart, Christopher Umholtz, Shawn Charles, Landon Brown, Jacob Covert and Zac Covert
