Leslie Claudette Murders, age 51, of Ozark, Arkansas died Wednesday June 15, 2022 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Leslie was of the Baptist faith, a Rotary International, and a Registered Nurse. Leslie was born October 26, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Claudy Chester and Sharon Yuvonna Rogers Bowman. She is preceded in death by her father, Sonny Bowman; and one grandson, Corbin Sheppard. Leslie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael Murders; her mother, Sharon Bowman of Ozark; six children, Marisa and Jonathan Doss, Kristen and Timothy Moore, and Brittany and Cody Sheppard, all of Ozark; three sisters, Tammy Burt, Melissa McKenzie, and Crystal Bateman, all of Ozark; two brothers, Sonny Ray Bowman of Ozark, and Jake Bowman of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and nine grandchildren, Aiden and Easton Doss, Braelynn Moore, Landon Doss, Avery Moore, Gabriel and Emma Sheppard, Lexi Moore, and Jackson Sheppard. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark, with Brother Kendall Ross officiating, with burial at Belt Cemetery Low Gap Road Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
