Iva Christine Fleener age 92, of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, July 31, 2021. She worked for Thurma-Tru and was a member of the New Bethel Assembly of God Church in Dyer. She was born October 15, 1928 in Webb City, Arkansas to Sidney and Flossie Vae Thornburg Swafford. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amos Alva Fleener; two sons, Jimmie Fleener and Bill Fleener; and a daughter, Patricia Fleener. Iva is survived by two daughters, Sue Fletcher of Alma and Rosetta Melton of Mulberry, Arkansas; a son, Joe Fleener of Alma; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Alma Full Gospel Church 31 Orrick Road in Alma with Brother Calvin Dutton and Brother Darren Fields officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark with burial at Dyer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Iva’s grandchildren.
