Gregory "Pete" Davis Moore

June 20, 1952 - January 26, 2022

Gregory Davis “Pete” Moore, age 69, of Paris, Arkansas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Paris. He was born in Grenada, Mississippi June 20, 1952 to Grover and Allie Davis Moore. Gregory was an iron worker at Liuna Local 360. Gregory graduated from life to death after completing his sentence of marriage. He joked throughout his life that if he robbed a bank instead of getting married he could have been out on parole. He never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. He was very kind hearted, disciplined and principled in all matters of life. Due to his upbringing and his time in the Mississippi National Guard, he helped others whenever he could. He taught his children that service above self is always the right path. May his goodness shine on in the hearts of all who read this. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Mike Moore. Gregory is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kelia Moore of Lamar, Arkansas; three daughters Kasey and husband Chris Tolbert of Ozark, Arkansas, Kristian, and Kyan Moore of Lamar; three sons Jeffery and wife Latasha Moore of Mantochie, Mississippi, Greg Moore of Mississippi, and Jeremy and wife Danielle Moore of Ozark; and 5 grandchildren of Mississippi and 5 grandchildren of Arkansas. Memorial Service will be Friday, February 4, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lewy Body dementia research at www.dementiasociety.org.
