Barbara Jane Mason

September 13, 1974 - April 16, 2022

Barbara Jane Nordin Mason, age 64, of Ozark, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Ozark just in time to celebrate Resurrection Sunday. She will no longer suffer and be in pain from the awful Alzheimer’s disease. Barbara was a member of Rehobeth Missionary Baptist Church and was a CNA since the 90’s and has touched the lives of so many patients that have been in her care. Barbara was the second daughter born to Clifford and Wanda Banhart Nordin on January 14, 1958 in Ozark. She has been a lifelong resident to the Craven’s Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Nordin Davidson; and one infant brother, Bruce Allen Nordin. Barbara is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Mason of Ozark; two daughters, Crystal and husband Jeremy Brown; and Angel Turner, all of Ozark; five grandchildren, Dante, Patrick, and Jordan Brown, Anna Turner all of Ozark and Colton and wife Abigail Bond of Penrose, Colorado; one great granddaughter, Ella Bond of Penrose; two brothers, Ricky Nordin of Greers Ferry and Clifton Nordin of Ozark; one sister, Connie Mason of Ozark; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and brothers and sisters in law. Visitation will be Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark. Funeral Services will be Wednesday April 20, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with Brother Terry Pickrell and Brother Kevin Tucker officiating with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
