Brenda Louise Mounce

Brenda Louise Mounce, born on March 30, 1946, in Heber Springs, AR was sent to her eternal home on June 3rd, 2025, in Coal Hill, AR. She was the beloved daughter of William and Dollie Ramer. Brenda was affectionately known for her love for her family. She had a love for family, gardening, reading, and shopping until you drop! She is also well known for her famous meat loaf. If you never had the opportunity to try it, well that is a shame. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived. Filled with laughter and fun. Brenda is survived by her husband Bill Mounce, children Lisa Alderson, Barbara wife of Billy Sampley, Audra wife of Art Fegan, Jason husband of Brittany Mounce, David husband of Rachelle Mounce, Catherine Mounce and Amanda wife of James Anderson, brothers Donnie & Glen Ramer. She also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces and many cousins who adored her dearly. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents William and Dollie Ramer, brother Clifford Ramer, son Michael Sutterfield, daughters Tammy Mounce, Mary Mounce and son in law Randy Alderson. After her graduation from Quitman High, Brenda embarked on a mission to raise her son, work hard, and spend her time on the things she loved most in life her family. For nearly 15 years she worked at Glad Manufacturing in Rogers, AR. Retiring to her forever home in Coal hill, AR. Outside of her passion for gardening, Brenda found joy in reading and collecting from blue glass, snow paintings, books, movies, fabric and so much more. She was a talented gardener, growing the most beautiful flowers. She also loved thrifting, an ice-cold lemonade and Chinese buffet. Her love for her family made her the most joyful. If you asked her what she paid for her electricity in 1982 she could tell you. Brenda was an organized bookkeeper down to the cent. Bill couldn’t get anything past her. Those who knew Brenda will remember her infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her deep-rooted love for her family, and her unwavering commitment to her husband. She had the ability to make anyone feel welcome. A visitation will be held at Shaffer Funeral Home on June 5th from 6-8 pm in Ozark AR. Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Brenda Louise Mounce will be held on June 6th at 2pm at Full Gospel Temple Ozark AR with graveside service to follow at Coal Hill Cemetery. All are welcome. Serving as pallbearers will be Logan Anderson, Justin Mounce, Josiah Wages, Randy Alderson, Justice Mounce, and Mathew Sutterfield. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jayden Mounce and Landon Anderson Although Brenda’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. Brenda, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
